Hitchin’ a ride
I think this photo truly captures the strong, independent, and do-it-all mentality of Dutch women. Totally fantastic. You can give a man a ride on the back of your bike, purse on arm, and sport your leopard gloves, too.
It’s not easy giving a ride — and it takes practice. I completely fell over the first time I tried to give a ride. Ended up just sitting on the back like this guy. I’ll keep trying though!

Its still different than cars. Would you trust a male STRANGER sitting behind you on the bike like the one in pic?

Can you write an article on how exactly to give someone a ride? We see pics of how people get a ride but never how to teach someone to be able to handle a bicycle well enough to give a ride. I find that I cannot reach the ground with my toes on my dutch bikes. I have to get off the bike. Does this make it impossible to be able to give a ride without fumbling and causing an accident?
